A tough day today as we cycled 57km from Gisors to Cergy. It started nicely with the old railway path resuming again with loads of tree cover. This continued for 20km but then we had to leave it for open roads, some gruelling climbs and gravel sections, all under an intense afternoon sun. Nowhere to stop for refreshments on the way, plenty of villages but no shops, cafes, nothing. But despite all that we made it; so proud of my little girl for powering through. #cycletouring #BikeTooter
