I did a FORMAT after this and it looks pretty much the same.
Some blocks may have come good after CALIBRAT rewrote them, but it still looks pretty much the same.
At least it hasn't grown bigger and the drive is still good otherwise.
Now if I could work out why the spinup is inhibited when I put a cable on secondary IDE... (it's probably the cable. I'm up for BUYING premade cables just to see what happens)
