I've been looking at trademark notices on websites and found this reductio ad absurdum on several websites: "Various trademarks held by their respective owners."
So, the legal benefit to using a notice (15 U.S.C. 1111) says this is what you have to be using: "“Registered in U.S. Patent and Trademark Office” or “Reg. U.S. Pat. & Tm. Off.” or the letter R enclosed within a circle, thus ®."
Sometimes you agree contractually to add a licensor's notice too. But that notice is just silly #trademark
