Haha, actually, I'm glad I didn't give up on it because it turned out that a lot of streams were not reused due to a bug where the Transform emitted 'data' after it was destroyed.
With all fixes in, I can serve 100MB with just 3 fs.createRead Stream(), even though Chromium makes 200 requests! Yay!
