My opposite addicting activity to running is coding. I sometimes have to tell my wife to stop me in <n> minutes - otherwise I cannot put it away. I keep on until “good enough” which takes time.
This afternoon I told her to close my MacBook as I was temporary in the kitchen. Otherwise I knew I would go straight back and continue the code (test case) until done.
Gosh I now re-realize why it caused me my health issues 😂
I love it and is a bit scared of it at the same time (coding) 🤠
