So I got a buddy who's stranded with his wife abroad because WestJet refuses to show up and negotiate with their mechanics.
The entitlement is astounding.
Because they won't take car of their people, and would rather go crying to the Canadian Government instead, hundreds of Canadians cannot get back home to their jobs and families.
The consumer has no recourse either because strikes (aka not taking care of your staff) are "outside of WestJet's control."
