Continuing with the case and buttons development, I'm experimenting with different d-pad and buttons solutions. The laser-cut caps held from the bottom by strips of sticky tape are not great, even if they do work. Now I have tried the NDS buttons (could work if I made the cutouts smaller to better fit them) and circles of vinyl glued to the back. The tolerances are narrow there, I think I will need washers on the screws that hold the front plate, to adjust the distance precisely.
