These were all understandable errors as the majority of the network was running NetBEUI via Ungermann-Bass routers fetching their configs via a BOOTP server & life was crappy.
You could run the command "NET VIEW \\EUROPE" from an NT 3.5.1 box in Redmond and see all the European servers.
When the employees showed up @10 AM to check their e-mail/stock prices, the entire global network would be taken down by a broadcast storm & they would go out on a coffee break for an hour til it subsided...
