Of all the things I did not expect to see in my backyard this morning. Two little fawns.
I literally did a double take when I looked out the window after feeding the cat. I didn’t realize there were two of them at first. No sign of mama around.
If I lived a few blocks further east, this might seem more normal, but not necessarily for my street, as quiet as it is. They would have had to have walked up the driveway to get back there.
