Some people mark the passage of time with bodies, theirs or the heavenly, others by semesters or sports seasons, or the arrival of fog or Shen Yun mailings. I’m not always in town when Mollie Stones rolls out the Hatch Chiles–and they’ve cut way back on their at-store roasts–but a freezer full with various stocks squeezed into the cracks is a welcome sight.
