Me, 3 days ago: my code is perfectly optimized, there can't be any way to make it faster.
Me, yesterday, spending hours at the keyboard: I feel there's a way to make that code faster, but I can't figure it out.
Me, today, during lunch, far from the keyboard, and after 2 glasses of wine: that's it, I found how to make that code faster.
I'll test it when I'm back at the keyboard. Bonus points: the optimization should also enable a simplification.
