As an aside, I had never paused to reflect that cats do not appear to have any cooling mechanism. Humans sweat, dogs pant using their tongues as radiators, but unless I'm missing something, cats only have summer fur shedding as cooling mechanism. #Roy uses the "lie down and move as little as felinely possible and maybe heat will go away" method on #Caturday #CatsOfMastodon . Also in his case known as the Tunamelt. Tuna is one of Roy's nicknames. It's not as hot today yet. So still on top ledge.
