It's been a while since @jaz@mastodon.iftas.org / @jaz@toot.wales published this, but its message is so important and universal, so I want to share it.
He's writing about the #Fediverse, but this applies to all #OSS/#FOSS and any #community space too.
Nothing is so uncool—and unproductive + ineffective—as making people feel bad for who they are, what they love, or where they come from. You may be right, but if you have to make people feel bad about it to prove it, you are so, so wrong.
