Somewhat despairing today of multiple people responding with great enthusiasm to what they think I wrote, who clearly did not read anything of what I wrote. My brief piece on being precise when you say that "Europe should do something" is getting loads of responses on various networks that the EU is great or that the EU is terrible. Responding to what people didn't say 1) is most unhelpful and 2) really won't get you anywhere (also in real life).
