Searching through used gaming PCs to get the 10yo his first stationary desktop computer.
But still not sure if this is going to be used. They'll use iOS devices in school, handheld consoles for gaming and phones for communication/internet access.
Somehow I still have some hope he'll want to look behind that shiny UX curtain and see how things work.
