Welp, a new version of Blender (4.2) with major upgrades, but one of the main was the EEVEE renderer. It works rediculously well now, and is super fast. You can just work in rendered mode now. I accidentally ended up redoing my donut up to the same stopping point I usually get to, but I did it with my graphics tablet this time, which is pretty fantastic once you get used to it. One of these days I'll remember to come back for the sprinkles portion of the videos.
