More and more videos using AI voices and websites using AI-generated images, has given me a new appreciation for humans doing things themselves. It has an endearing effect—flaws and all.
(A few of the advanced AI voices have gotten pretty good, though. But they still make mistakes that transport you back to uncanny valley. I’m curious where we’ll end up in the long run, esp. w.r.t. fixing errors.)
