Is it inevitable that companies eventually require their managers and supervisors to violate their ethics and values?
I am aware of a company that suffered an IT intrusion. Most employees at this company do all their work on their personal devices, and the company has no BYOD policy.
The company is now requiring SIEM software on personal devices used for work. The company has not communicated the risks. They are not providing corporate devices or compensation.
Very unethical in my opinion.
