Network, network, network. All trainee scientists will be told they have to network for the their career, for projects and for mentoring.
But how you network effectively and what are the ethics and efficacy of networking, what's the best way to do it, should you even do it at all?
What do you think? Is it worth the effort for the introvert or something we put too much pressure on people to do?
