Although having said that, at least Python version development and maintenance has the PEP process by which to check such things.
I honestly don't know how things stand for the other popular dynamically typed languages - e.g. JavaScript, Perl.
Still, choosing to use a dynamically typed language is itself a design choice, which has consequences for coding practise in it.
