It has the same symptoms as https://forums.debian.net/viewtopic.php?t=153980, where the problem was apparently the cable.
So I try a different cable → works fine. I try the original one again → still works fine.
Maybe the cable is broken but if it’s twisted in the right way it does not surface? Or maybe I did not have it plugged in properly?
But still, if it’s an electrical problem, something has to be going really badly wrong for the wifi driver to start detecting *software* errors right?
