Yes, #Google has an enormous amount of user data and uses it to improve its #search engine.
But Google runs two services (#GoogleNews, #GoogleDiscover) to suggest #news stories based on our interests, which it supposedly knows a lot about. They're terrible.
I'm still trying to figure this out. Does it know less about us than we thought? Or does it have reasons not to use what it knows to serve us?
