Quantifying attrition in science: a cohort-based, longitudinal study of scientists in 38 OECD countries
"For more recent cohorts, in contrast, gender differences in #attrition rates may no longer be present, especially for math-intensive disciplines with low numbers and percentages of women. For new generations of scientists, attrition in science has been on the rise and very high, but it seems to be much less gendered than traditionally assumed."
