Happy to share my latest with Prof P. Chiu (University of ) and E. Krenske (University of ):
Reductive Reaction of cyclic enones. I personally love this work because it allows the construction of aldol products that were previously difficult to achieve. If the enolate is cyclic, an (E)-enolate is automatically formed. In most cases this leads to an anti aldol reaction, but in our case we get the syn product.
