2024 saw a 3% drop in EU road fatalities.

🔸 19,800 people were killed in road crashes last year, slightly fewer than in 2023.
🔸 Rural roads remain the most dangerous.
🔸 Vulnerable road users make up nearly 70% of urban fatalities.

Although we are seeing progress, it remains slow. We want to bring fatalities down to zero, including through

✅ Updated driving licence requirements
✅ Better cross-border traffic rules enforcement
✅ Revised roadworthiness laws
