On wild porpoise protection: Do you know of any sources that show porpoises can turn deaf permanently due to human activity?
I have seen this claim on the ccb.se website, putting blame on wind farms.
I could not find any studies that back this claim up. There are papers on deaf dolphins, and sonar seems to affects porpoise’ hearing for 20 minutes.
