„Last night, SNCF was the victim of several concomitant acts of malevolence affecting the LGV Atlantique, Nord & Est high-speed lines. Deliberate fires were set to damage our installations.
The LGV Sud Est was not affected, as one act of malicious intent was thwarted.
Following this massive attack aimed at paralyzing the high-speed network, a large number of trains have been diverted or cancelled. Passengers affected will be contacted by e-mail or SMS. We ask all passengers who are able to do so to postpone their journey and not to go to the station. All tickets for these disrupted journeys are exchangeable and refundable.“
