Had a weird conversation with a young fellow in my small who normally supports Bernie sanders, but has fallen under the spell of Tulsi Gabbard, he thinks she's hot, and was spouting some rightwing tulsi gabbard Rfk jr crap. I said what about the overturning of Roe v Wade. He kind of poo pooed it as a real concern, and pontificated on how it should be left up to the states.
I finally said "leaving abortion up to the states, is exactly like leaving slavery up to the states. It singling out a demographic of people who are subject to different laws according to geography. " He went dead quiet when I said that, he had no answer.
