heat survival tip:

😎 🧂 You need electrolytes to stay hydrated.

You can get them at pharmacies and drug stores to mix in with water and drink (though they may taste bad, it really helps your body!) or get sports drinks, sometimes called iso drinks.

🍹 Some people just put salt in their juice or other beverages.

🍜 Chicken or vegetable broth or other types of broth also help (downside being that they are hot). Ramen snacks ftw!

🥔 Salt and vinegar crisps (chips) are also really good! I used to not like that flavour but I do now that it's hot.

🥵 A sign that you need more electrolytes is when you are thirsty but plain water tastes bad. Your body needs electrolytes and not just plain water to stay hydrated.

(It may also be a sign of you being in energy deficit in general, meaning you need more rest and more food. Stop exercising, try to do chores when it is cooler if possible, try to sit or lay down more where possible. Do what you can to get three full meals plus several snacks every day to fuel your body.)
