Research (unclear sponsor) shows that cow manure improves soil quality and sequesters carbon.
But this is nowhere near enough carbon to offset the methane the cows belch.
Beef remains the common food with the highest emissions.
Is it possible that changes to cow diets might reduce that? Sure.
Is it possible that they will make it comparable to pork, let alone plant based alternatives, even taking into account soil improvements?
That seems less likely.
