Drama for the day.
Our Residents' Association is being asked to endorse a call to do a safety review for bike lanes and construction zones in the wake of another cyclist death in Toronto because some murderer placed a bin smack in the middle of the bike lane.
A member of the board took this opportunity to call for the removal of all bike lanes in construction zones.
So I wrote back and let her know that I totally agreed with her in the interest of public safety that lanes should be removed but since her beloved former mayor declared a climate emergency, the removed lanes should be car lanes.
