Of course they would predict that. It's THE whole argument for that option. What this argument dismisses is the electoral consequences of a widely perceived lack of physical stability in Biden. Whatever you think of where that leaves him in terms of competency for the job, it is undoubtedly a HUGE electoral "IF", and a substantial one, at that. So, we're weighing "Party disarray" vs "Presidential competency". For me, the latter actually comes down to Trump's absolute ineptitude and unfit-ness for the job. Biden has sane staff.
I take that position on Biden & the strength of Dem over GOP, & especially MAGA GOP and their "enforcer" SCOTUS. Clear and Present Danger. But the perception problem is REAL, and it is nothing warranting the vitriol we're seeing shooting in both directions.
I will be ready to support ANY Democratic ticket against the EVIL the Republicans are putting before us, and have already. We saw more than enough of what they could do in their "first crack" at "draining the swamp". They've filled it with even more "swamp creatures".
