We hear news every day of the latest Israeli military atrocities, that is, those of us who have some distance from it in our everyday lives, and this has gone on for months, with nothing to show to really stop it. and I know those people from Palestine who I've added on here already know, and they know it's worse.
I think however much energy people put into analysis, from a distance, of what's going on, at least as much energy needs to go toward direct aid for people affected. There is no waiting for some more powerful entity to intervene, no 'international law' or 'rules-based order' with any real urgency to stop all this. What remains is the day to day survival of everyday people who are caught in these circumstances.
There are many more people going through similar, more people than I have specific contact with or whose posts I've seen here. I don't want to have to choose any one as more important than any other, but to urge people on this principle to seek commonality and solidarity with occupied people everywhere, Palestine and beyond.
