Confession: I have never had more than 800 dollars to my name. I may have more than a 1000 bucks of stuff, but I'm very sure I wouldn't be able to sell it for more than 1000. Not quite poor, still not even close to financially secure. When the loot dries up, and the odd jobs are few and far between, it's to the streets with me.
If I were to go and run away from home, I wouldn't be able to make the security deposit on most places to rent. I would be dead broke within a year. That's why I have to tolerate so much bigotry around me, I have nowhere to go.
So when my means of transportation: single cylinder motorcycles, ebikes, regular bikes, buses are interrupted, I get very pissed. It means I cannot have a temporary escape from the hell I live in.
So if anyone takes issue with the fact that I do so much movin' around, just remember that I try my best to keep emissions and impact low, and avoid people and animals if I can. I'm flawed as any other person or thing, and I'll do what it takes to keep me going. Within reason, at least.
