The executive in those excerpts Liam Iliffe has stepped down by now. He prepped staff on these conference calls and described on how well the company faired with his new lobbying approaches.

But even IF Iliffe were ' self-aggrandizing with no basis in reality' , it tells us which Trump-like sociopathic personalities do make it to the top of fossil fuel companies. Wherever those do get to the top, the actual things they make staff do to keep in biz inevitably will be sociopathic too. Inevitably sociopathic!

The result, Iliffe said, was “a marked shift in language when [Eby] came home.”
