While everyone is worrying about missile diplomacy between Israel and Iran, Israel is busy apparently putting into action a plan to clear the whole of north Gaza.
There isn't the space or facilities for another 300,000+ Palestinians in the south. And certainly not in the small area they've been directed to.
And as always there is no political plan other than more war. Israel can harm Hamas but it cannot permanently destroy it without a political solution. And right from the beginning it's been about collective punishment as much as about defeating Hamas.
But the fiasco with Iran will guarantee ongoing US military aid, no matter who wins the election. So even if a wider war doesn't create catastrophe, the genocide will go on.
Unless Harris is prepared to take a radically different line to that which both she and Biden have taken so far.
